Happy Cook Island Language Week! I hope you all have been enjoying it, for Cook Island Language week we made a set of slides in class. There were 10 slides in total, 1 – Title slide, 2 – Map Of Cook Island, 3 – Cook Island Culture, 4 – Facts About Cook Island, 5 – Cook Island Greetings, 6 – Introducing ourselves in Cook Island, 7 – Cook Island Numbers 1 – 10, 8 – Cook Island Days of the Week, 9 – Cook Island Months of the Year, and lastly 10 – Simple Cook Island Phrases. I really enjoyed every part of this and found it very fun. I worked with Breeze, Shannon, Malia and Maddison. Together we finished the slides and added some decoration and colour to it, here it is!

First I would like to hope that this week you have enjoyed Samoan Language week so far. This Week we attended Ako Hiko Student Toolkits, we attended a Pick a Path Toolkit and we learnt how to create a Pick a Path slide set. We got to play their Pick a Path and at the end we were given the opportunity to make our own Pick a Path. Since it was Samoan Language week the Pick a Path had to have Questions about Samoan phrases, numbers, colors, and more! Here is my Samoan Mix Pick a Path:

Have you ever been to a Student Toolkit before?

Samoan Map!

We have been celebrating Samoan Language week. Using Google maps we had to identify Independent Samoa and American Samoa. We also had to pin point the Capital of Samoa, the highest Mount, and 2 places in Samoa that we would like to visit. Checkout my places of interest and make a comment, adding your favourite place or the place you would like to visit!
